Patricia L. Verry
YARMOUTH – Patricia L. Verry of Yarmouth, 79, passed away at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough on June 12, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.
Pat was born July 17, 1944 in Nashua, N.H., a daughter to Adam and Mildred Plynkofsky. Pat graduated from Alvirne High School (New Hampshire), class of 1962.
After receiving a kidney transplant in 1995, Pat started her bookkeeping business and with a sharp mind she never retired. Pat loved golf, gardening and spending time with the “Riverbend Ladies”. She traveled all around the world with her best friend, Sylvia. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Eliot Verry-Gardella, Willow Verry-Gardella, Pierce Verry; and beloved great-niece and nephew, Zach Marhanka and Megan Marhanka.
Pat is survived by her son, Christopher Verry (Vermont), daughter, Jessica Verry (Maine); and niece, Beth Marhanka (Virgina).
She was predeceased by her sisters Shirley Campoleto (Virginia) and Cynthia Pynn (New Hampshire).
Pat was an incredible fighter and overcame many physical adversities throughout her life. She will be remembered as a strong independent woman.
A celebration of life is in the works and will be held later this summer.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
