OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Joseph “Joe” C. M. Cote, Jr., 54, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on July 9, 2024, at Maine Medical Center, Portland.
He was born in Bitburg, Germany, the son of Joseph C. M. Cote, Sr. and Vera (Vine) Cote.
Joe graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School. He attended college and later went on to work for subcontractors doing plumbing and HVAC work.
He was a member of the AMVETS.
Joe enjoyed football (“GO JETS!”), time with friends, long walks in the woods with his partner Colleen and their dog Lucy, time with his children, lazy days at the river, and seeing his friends at Pop’s Tavern.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Joe is survived by his partner and best friend of 37 years, Colleen O’Brion; two godsons, Brandon and Casey; stepchildren, Evan, Connor and Ella-Rae; stepmother, Jati Dufort; sister, Joyce Lockcuff; two nephews, Cody and Josh; many aunts, uncles, cousins; his dog, Lucy.
