A New Hampshire man was arrested after a shooting outside a restaurant in Cornish left one person injured Tuesday afternoon.
Maine State Police went to the Fairgrounds Pizza and Pub restaurant at 156 Maple St. at about 2:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting in the parking lot involving two men “who are known to each other,” spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a statement.
Troopers found Eric Letendre, 44, of West Baldwin, had been shot twice and sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Moss said. The officers rendered first aid and LifeFlight of Maine transported Letendre to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Troopers arrested Sean Ambrose, 40, of Canterbury, New Hampshire, who was charged with reckless conduct with a firearm and transported to the York County Jail, Moss said.
