A Scarborough man died after losing control of his motorcycle and hitting a guardrail in Limerick on Saturday afternoon.

Maine State Police identified the man as 30-year-old Christopher Mannion. They said he was driving a 2007 Honda motorcycle southbound on Route 5 and his speed “appears to be a contributing factor in the crash.”

State police are investigating the crash and ask anyone who witnessed it to contact Trooper Travis Doughty at 207-624-7076.
