
SCARBOROUGH – Jacqueline Ann Ricker Oliver, 91, of Scarborough, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, at The Greens of Viewmont with the support of Carolina Caring Hospice in Hickory, NC, surrounded by her loving children.
Born on March 31, 1933, to parents Roland and Yvonne Ricker, Jacqueline was employed by Fairchild Semiconductor Incorporated and retired from Maine Medical Center. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was a beloved wife, sister, parent, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children Elizabeth Overstreet, Patricia Oliver, James R. Oliver II, and Michelle Colton; as well as her sister Anita Cloutier and brother Ralph “Skip” Ricker. She was predeceased by her husband James Richard Oliver, sister Pauline Ricker Tenggren.
Throughout her life, Jacqueline was known for her love of gardening and dogs but most of all for her love of her four children, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Jacqueline is remembered for her strength of character, warmth, wisdom and unyielding support of those in need. She will be dearly missed but remembered for her enduring impact on the lives of so many.
A graveside service is scheduled for July 26, 2024 10 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery 1461 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106.
