As we sat in our living room watching the 35th National Memorial Day Concert, we found ourselves thinking how lucky we are to live in a country where we are free because of the sacrifices of the men and women who have fought for this right and the many who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
As we celebrate the beginning of summer and remember all those who have helped keep our country safe, we are saddened by what our country is going through as we face another turbulent election season. We hope and pray that each of us will remember all of these sacrifices and heroes who prove, every day, how much they loved and still love our country.
When stepping into that voting booth in November or mailing in an absentee ballot, remember we are here to celebrate our freedom and this republic and keep it that way.
