House Speaker Mike Johnson stood on the steps of the Capitol recently and said, “We all know, intuitively, that a lot of illegals are voting in federal elections, but it is not something that is easily provable.” Do we think he is trying to sow a little doubt on the outcome of the next presidential election? There is absolutely zero evidence to support his statement. In fact, think about it for a minute. People who are in this country without the proper legal authority do everything they can to stay under the radar and are very unlikely to risk exposing their status by voting illegally.

Mike Johnson states he knows these people are voting illegally “intuitively.” The definition of intuitive: using or based on what feels to be true without conscious reasoning. That sounds about right to me.
