Cheryl “Cheri” L. (Jenkins) Dudley

SALEM, N.H. – Cheryl “Cheri” L. (Jenkins) Dudley, 78, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass.

She was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up on many different military bases around the world. Cheri was the daughter of the late Alberta (Nielsen) and David Jenkins. She lived in Maine for 50 years before settling in Salem, N.H. for the last nine years.

Cheri was dedicated to the service of others. She worked as a nurse and a respiratory therapist at Maine Medical Center and she was proud of her degrees as an RN, BSN, RT. She enjoyed baking, making jam, and sewing, but most of all being with her family.

Cheri is survived by her beloved children, Trish (Bob) Ackermann, Robert (Marie) Dudley, Dena (John) Parker, John Flint and John (Jeyashree) Dudley; her brother, David Jenkins Jr. and wife Leena; her nine grandchildren, Heather, Linda, Ashley, Miranda and husband Dan, Colby, Elise, Lauren, David and Alex; her five great-grandchildren, Govani, Westley, Milan, James and William; her nieces Cherie Jenkins and Andrea Dudley and nephew, Nick Dudley.

She was predeceased by her husband, William “Bill” Dudley.

Visitation is Saturday, Nov. 11 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, N.H.
