YARMOUTH – Louise Nichols Conant Daley, 97, of Yarmouth, died peacefully early Friday morning, Oct. 27, 2023 at the Brentwood Rehab & Nursing Center.
She was born on Nov. 10, 1925, in Gardner, Mass. and graduated from the local high school. She was always extremely proud of having written the school song.
Louise was very musically inclined and played the piano well.
She went to Bridgewater College to become a teacher and while there, she met and married, Paul V. Daley. They had a wonderful teaching career and for many years taught the American children of Standard Oil in Talara, Peru.
They returned to the US and had a daughter and two sons. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to two.
A funeral service for Louise will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 at the Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Road in Casco. Interment will follow at the Lakeside Cemetery in Casco.
