Rhoda Salemme

STANDISH – Rhoda Salemme, 69, passed away on Friday Oct. 21, 2023 at Sedgewood Commons, Falmouth.

Rhoda was born Sept. 17,1954, in Revere, Mass, the daughter of Albert and Deborah (Diamond) Shaponick. Rhoda fought a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She now rests with her mom and dad and all those who have passed before her.

Rhoda touched many, with her larger-than-life personality and heart to match. Although, family was Rhoda’s number love some of her happiest moments were spending time at her home on Sebago Lake and her winters on little Gasparilla Island, Fla. with her loving husband Victor.

She is survived by her husband Victor Salemme; her daughter and son-in-law Hailey and John Mancini; her two amazing grandchildren John and Leah, who were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her son Billy Salemme.

The Salemme family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Sedgewood Commons for their care of Rhoda and the amazing staff at Affinity Care of Maine for their care, compassion and support of Rhoda and her family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with Funeral to follow at 2:00 at the Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home Windham Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, Maine.
