Gloria (Cote) Langway

CUMERLAND – Born on Feb. 5, 1945 in Old Town, Gloria graduated from Greely High School in 1964. After graduation, she worked various jobs, with her most enjoyable being her last role as a bus monitor working with special needs children.

In May of 1966, Gloria married Merrick “Pete” Langway, going on to have two children, Ronald Langway and Margaret Priest.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Mary Davis; her husband, Pete; sister, Mary Trask; granddaughter, Haley; and great-grandson, Kane.

She is survived by her two children; as well as her sister, Cecile Davis, sister, Theresa (Billy) Hitchcock, and brother, Ronald Davis. Gloria is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Carol Dennison, Dylan Sargent and Marie Spiller; as well as great-grandson, Merrick Dennison.

Memorial service will be held on Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. at the West Cumberland United Methodist Church on Blackstrap Road, Cumberland. Celebration of life will follow in the parish hall.
