Brenda Jewett Shaw

NORTH HERO, Vt. – Brenda Jewett Shaw, of North Hero, Vt., died on Sept 23, 2023 at the University of Vermont Medical Center, following a brief illness. She was born in Portland, Maine, on April 23, 1937, the daughter of Osborn and Wilma (Fogg) Jewett.

Brenda graduated from Greely Institute in Cumberland Center, Maine, in 1955 and married her high school sweetheart, Bradford Shaw. in Raymond, Maine. Together they raised two daughters, Rosemarie Shaw of Williston, Vt., and Lisa Webber of North Hero, Vt.

Brenda and Brad were active in their church, wherever they lived. Gander Brook Christian camp in Raymond was a special place where they volunteered for many summers as kitchen help, teaching or helping with maintenance.

There will be a gathering on Oct 14 at 2 p.m., at Walnut Hill Cemetery in North Yarmouth, where Brenda will be interred.
