Robert C. Hood Jr., a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan, passed away Saturday evening, Sept. 23, 2023, at his residence after living eight years with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Bob was born Sept. 14, 1943, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, the son of Robert C. and Lorraine Scheetz Hood, and attended local schools, and attended Shippensburg State College.
Moving to Maine in 1985, together with his wife Connie, owned the Blue Harbor House B&B in Camden, and then the Camden Deli. Most recently, he was the CFO of Auto Europe in Portland.
Bob was a rabid Eagles fan and loved anything that had their shade of green and logo on it. He also liked the quiet solitude of fly fishing, be in it on fresh or salt water.
Survivors include his wife Constance Hood of Kennebunk, and his daughter Traci Hood of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
A private family celebration will be held.
