Nancy Pace

ELLIOT – We are sad to announce the death of Nancy Pace, 84, who peacefully passed away in her home on Sept. 18, 2023. Nancy was a caring wife, a loving mother, and a wonderful grandmother.

Nancy was born as one of five siblings on Sept. 8, 1939, in Manchester, N.H., to John and Mary Charron. She moved to Madison, Maine, when she was very young, where she grew up and met her husband of 65 years, whom she would love for the rest of her life.

She was a devoted Navy wife, following her husband while he served in the United States Navy, and even supported two sons and a grandson through their Naval careers. Starting late in life, she began working as a bank teller, where she was recognized for her exemplary performance and promoted several times until her retirement. Nancy’s hobbies included sewing and camping with her family.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Frank Sr.; her two sons, Frank Jr. and Dennis, daughter Lynne; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Nancy’s burial will be on Oct. 5 at Southern Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Sanford.
