PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Evelyn Friend, 95, formerly of Sanford, Maine, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on August 23, 2023. She was born in Blue Hill, Maine to Evertt Holden and Lillian Henderson on July 10, 1928.

She was predeceased by her husband of 75 years, Ray Friend. Survivors include her sister Alberta; daughters Linda (Roy), Diane (Wade) and Gail (Greg); grandchildren Danielle, April, Adam and Brian; and great-grandchildren Grace, Alex, Malcolm, Riley, Caleigh, Liam, Arlo, and Bronco. She will always be cherished and remain in our hearts.
