SAD 51 will offer a free bus driving class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. starting Monday, Sept. 25. Training will assist those interested in obtaining the permits required for a Commercial Class B driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsements.
Instruction will include pre-trip inspections and working with children, and trainees who earn their license may apply for bus driver, substitute bus driver and trip driver positions currently available in the Cumberland-North Yarmouth school district.
