
The second annual Falmouth Trails Day will take place Oct. 8 with a variety of guided hikes available throughout town.
Four hikes will be offered: 9 a.m. at Woods Road Community Forest, 11 a.m. at Community Park, 1 p.m. at Suckfish Brook Conservation Area and 3 p.m. at River Point Conservation Area.
Hikers are asked not to bring pets, but are encouraged to bring water, snacks, sunscreen and bug spray. Trips are about an hour long.
Trails Day is hosted by the Falmouth Community Wellness Committee and Falmouth Land Trust. Registration is not required. Contact the Marguerite Fleming for more information at mfleming@falmouthme.org or 699-5335.
