HOMOSASSA, Fla. – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lawrence Gantnier on Sept. 15, 2023, at the age of 73.

Lawrence was born April 2, 1950, in Portland, to the late Rowena Hodge and George Gantnier and later resided in Florida.

Lawrence was married to the love of his life, Bonnie Pease for 53 beautiful years.

Lawrence was a proud father to his three daughters, Heather Bass of California, Icy Defonso (husband, Chad) of Florida, and Shawna King (husband Christopher) of Florida; including seven grandchildren; and a great-grandfather of two.

Lawrence was a man of faith, a great lover of the Lord. His storytelling talents were legendary.
