BIDDEFORD — Rickie J. Brooks passed away on September 8, 2023.
He was born in Biddeford in 1949. He served in the US Navy and was an honored member of the original crew aboard the USS Portland LSD-37. Rickie was a mason for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Jean Brooks; his Godchildren Tabitha Werblud and Steven Dionne; his sister Karen and Leo Simard; his sister-in-law Rachael Casavant and her husband Marc and Pat Cote. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Gladys Beaulieu; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Bonnie Meserve and nephew John Miller.
Per Rickie’s wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.
