Lloyd E. Ranger

FALMOUTH – Lloyd E. Ranger, 89, of Falmouth, passed away Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, of natural causes.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Harriet Ranger; his first wife and the mother of his two sons, Barbara “Shirley” Ranger (d. 1994), his second wife, Joan Norton (d. 2022); his two brothers, Herbert and Burchard Ranger; and his stepson, Dwight Jr. “Skip” Norton.

He is survived by his two sons, Bruce (Mary) Ranger or Maine, Dennis (Carol) Ranger of Georgia, stepchildren, Dave (Donna) Norton, Diane Whiley; three grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, at 10 a.m. at the Methodist Baptist Cemetery, Blackstrap Road at Upper Methodist Road in Cumberland.

There will be a gathering following the service at 8 Lorings Way in Falmouth.
