Participants in the 10th annual Westbrook Strong 5K take off Saturday at Riverbank Park. The race, in honor of the late Matthew Rairdon of Westbrook. benefits nursing scholarships. “Currently, we are tabulating our final results, but it looks as though we will be clearing around $33,000-$35,000,” said organizer Gary Rairdon. “A very successful year!” Rairdon gave a special shoutout to the Campbell kids, who raised $130 for the event with their lemonade stand.
