Patricia Ann (Bishop) Brume

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Patricia Ann (Bishop) Brume, 87, of Winter Haven, Fla., passed away on June 4, 2023. She was born in Portland on Oct. 9, 1935, to George and Lena (McGuire) Bishop.

Patricia grew up in Windham where she graduated from Windham High School, class of 1954. She married the love of her life, Richard E. Brume on Sept. 4, 1954, and they resided on Route 115 in Windham until they became permanent residents of Florida in 2014. Patricia was a wonderful cook and liked to cater. She co-owned Dick and Pat’s Variety and also worked for the Maine Turnpike Authority.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Richard; son, Richard E. Brume, Jr.; brothers Harold, John, and Donald, sisters Helen Cobb, Irene Zelinski, and Mildred Cole.

She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Harriman of Naples, Donna and husband Gaylon Yeaton of Winter Haven, Fla., Julie and husband Alan Carr of Albany Twp; grandchildren Timothy and wife Christine Harriman of Connecticut, Christopher Yeaton of Florida, Ashley and her husband Joe Callahan of Windham, Alana and Jacob Carr of Albany Twp; great-grandchildren Matthew and RiRi Harriman of New York, Addison, Caeden and Brynn Callahan of Windham; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday June 16, at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham, where a funeral service will be held following visitation at 6 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
