Melissa Carol McKenney, age 47, went home on May 11, 2023, after fighting health issues for seven years, brought about from leukemia. She was born in Pittsburgh, where she had several close family members: leaving behind the father of her children, Jose Serrano.

She had four children; Isabella Serrano, step-daughter. Her birth children, Dominic, Antonio, and Sofia Serrano. Her mother: Sandra LaFrance-Step Father Michael LaFrance. Siblings: Sister-Monique Lycette, Brother-in-Law-Kevin Lycette-Nephew-Vincent Lycette. Brother- Samuel Smith, Partner, Kaitlyn Hill-Nephews-Michael Covla and Cooper Cavola. Step Sister- Jessica Miles-Brother-in-Law, Robert Miles. Several wonderful friends that she was able to reach out to. They were always there for her needs. We love all of you!
