I was so glad to read the Press Herald’s recent feature about Amjambo Africa (“In 5 years, Amjambo Africa has become an important news source for Maine immigrants,” May 20). I enjoy reading it whenever it comes and learning about immigrant communities in Maine. It is also extremely valuable for English speakers who are learning one of the languages included in each issue.

Whenever I want to brush up on my Spanish, I pull out a copy, find an article I’m interested in and start reading the Spanish version. If I get stuck on a word, it’s a snap to find it in the English version. It’s easy, convenient, fun and informative.
