
Hires, promotions, appointments


Lorri Sommer was appointed CEO of The Park Danforth Board of Trustees, replacing Denise Vachon, who retired. Sommer joined The Park Danforth as chief financial officer in 2015, then worked in sales and marketing, admissions and human resources.
The Finance Authority of Maine hired Jonathan Poole as director of strategic growth and Sarah Nadeau-Balducci as deputy general counsel. Previously, she worked as a law clerk for the Maine Judicial Branch.

Scott Dolan of Portland, a civil litigation and business law attorney at Petruccelli, Martin & Haddow, was named to the Super Lawyers Magazines’ 2023 New England Rising Stars list, recognizing lawyers’ excellence.
Open for business
Bella Funk, a clothing and gift boutique that features handmade, local work, has opened at 43 Exchange St. in Portland. Owners Katie Stafford and Stefanie Moody also operate a Bella Funk shop in Littleton, N.H. Malone Commercial Brokers brokered the four-year lease for building owner East Brown Cow.
