Regarding Jorge S. Arango’s recent piece (“The must-see art exhibitions at Maine museums this summer,” May 18):

I would find it valuable to also include the Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor in the list of art venues.

This summer, they have a show featuring highly acclaimed work from the 1960s by Micmac Indian craftsmen that seems especially relevant to anyone seeking to get a broad understanding of the art being made during that period.
