Brunswick, Topsham and Bath will celebrate Memorial Day with parades and observances.
Brunswick and Topsham will hold a joint parade and an observance on the Brunswick Mall in honor and remembrance of those who lost their lives in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Route 201 and Main Street will close to traffic at 8 a.m. and the parade will begin at 9 a.m. going toward Brunswick. The observance at Brunswick Mall will begin 11 a.m.
Bath’s Memorial Day Parade will form on Congress Avenue near the American Legion and start at 10:30 a.m. It will stop briefly at the Civil War monument at Centre and High street for a rifle salute from the Legion’s Honor Guard.
Street closures and detours will be in effect during the parade. No parking is allowed along the parade route until it has ended.
