Cooper Wright, a Lego-building middle school student from Cumberland, has been awarded his second Guinness World Record.
Wright this week received official confirmation that he now holds the world record for the fastest build of the Lego Eiffel Tower set, completing the build in 9 hours, 15 minutes and 35 seconds.
Earlier this year, Wright was awarded a Guinness World Record for building the Lego World Map in under 10 hours.
Wright, who attends North Yarmouth Academy, has been building Lego sets since age 2. He told The Forecaster in January that he’s both creative and enjoys collecting things, making Lego the perfect creative outlet for him. Wright’s family and friends say they hope his story will be motivating to other students who may be interested in achieving similar goals.
