The city of Bath this summer will upgrade 646 streetlights to lighting fixtures with LED bulbs, which will be longer lasting and have lower voltage and CO2 emissions than those now in place, according to the city.
The lights will have smart controls, allowing the city to control the timing and brightness. They will be acquired from CMP.
Installation is slated to begin this summer and will is expected to four to six weeks to complete.
