I’ll be voting for Anneke Hohl and Megan Lichter for the SAD 51 School Board on June 13.
From the moment I met Hohl, it was clear she has the talent and commitment to invest in our community. She’s an engaged community member, having spent time serving on the PTO, including as chairperson, and volunteering in the schools and as a youth soccer and running club coach. Hohl cares about our district, and she puts her time and talent to use in support of our schools, kids, and teachers.
When Megan Lichter expressed interest in running for school board, I was excited to endorse her candidacy. She and her family have a deep love for our community and the school district, and Megan has pledged to support keeping our academic programs strong, school safety and wellness, and comprehensive learning.
I hope Cumberland residents join me in voting for two people committed to ensuring both excellence and equity in our schools: Anneke Hohl and Megan Lichter.
