WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Paul F. Dyer Sr., 95, of Wallingford, Conn., passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Masonicare Health Center.

Paul was born in Portland, Nov. 7, 1927, the only son of the late Fred L. and Catherine (McCoy) Dyer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, serving 14 months in Germany.

He moved to Connecticut in the mid 1950s, and settled in Wallingford, Conn. in 1960 where he raised his family.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Peggy; his grandchildren Kaitlyn and Matthew Dyer, Jennifer and her husband, Thomas Cristaldi, Michelle Dyer and her fiancé, Varun Konanki.

He was predeceased by his son, Robert P. Dyer; and his four sisters, Helena, Rita, Frances and Dorothy.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be private at the State Veterans’ Cemetery in Middletown Conn., http://www.wallingfordfh.com
