Diane Porter

SACO – Diane M. Porter, 63, of Hill Street, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at her residence.

She was born in Newton, Mass., on Oct. 16, 1959, the daughter of Richard and Janet Buck Hoey.

She attended Sudbury schools and later attended Lincoln Sudbury High School.

Diane traveled for a few years, which included a year in Guatemala. She moved to Maine in 1991.

Diane worked as a waitress for Wormwoods for several years. She was employed by The Lobster Claw for over 15 years and was with The Lucky Loggers for close to 30 years.

Diane enjoyed her music, her computer, and watching movies. She was a loving mother, a very hard worker, fun-loving and enjoyed times with her family.

Diane enjoyed the company of her cats and her favorite dog, D O G.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Deane Porter of Saco; two sons, Alex Hoey of Biddeford and Dylan Hoey of Saco; and three sisters, Carol Bishop of Standish, Donna DelCid of Northboro, Mass. and Paula Landry of Sun City Center, Fla., and Plymouth, Mass.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
