A local construction worker who had not been seen since Saturday night was located Wednesday at a hotel in Auburn, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said.

Cameron Brown, 23, who is originally from Yarmouth, had been working and living in Boothbay with a company hired to renovate the Ocean Point Inn, according to Lt. Michael Murphy. Brown was last seen Saturday evening by a friend and a co-worker.
The sheriff’s office on Tuesday asked the public for assistance in locating Brown, but he said in a release Wednesday that Brown had been found at a hotel in Auburn by a family member.
“Mr. Brown apparently left Boothbay of his own accord without telling his friend or employer,” Murphy said.
