Stephanie LeBlanc

Stephanie LeBlanc has joined Maine Behavioral Healthcare, a part of the MaineHealth system, as senior director of behavioral health systems and integrated services. For the past nine years, she served as executive director of Oxford County Mental Health Services, where she devoted much of her time to working with schools and law enforcement in addressing adverse childhood experiences and community resiliency. Previously, she worked in various clinical management roles with Tri-County Mental Health. LeBlanc attended the University of Colorado to study psychology and received a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Southern Maine.

Alisa Schlundt has joined Portland law firm Hallett Whipple Weyrens as an associate attorney. She previously worked as a public defender in Georgia for seven years before relocating to Maine in 2022. Schlundt is a graduate of Florida State University and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.

Leann Sebrey

Woodlands Senior Living has named Leann Sebrey as chief operating officer and chief clinical officer. Sebrey brings more than 30 years of health care experience to the network of senior care communities, including work in trauma, emergency care, home health and hospice. Most recently, she served as chief clinical officer at Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice in Lewiston for more than five years. A nurse, Sebrey also has led teams at Maine Health Care at Home in Rockland and Quarry Hill in Camden, Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, and Brandywine Hospital and Trauma Center in Cain, Pennsylvania.

PROMOTIONS

Maine-based engineering firm Wright-Pierce has promoted Paul Birkel to president and CEO. Birkel, previously the executive vice president, succeeds John Braccio, who is now chairman of the board and a strategic adviser. Birkel has served with Wright-Pierce for over three decades, and among other roles has worked as its wastewater practice group leader. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine and earned an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.

Beth Orcutt

Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences in East Boothbay has named Beth Orcutt as vice president for research, after she served as interim vice president for the past nine months. Orcutt joined Bigelow Laboratory as a senior research scientist in 2012, and has over a decade of leadership experience directing teams of scientists and students in exploration of the deep sea. She has participated in 30 scientific expeditions, spending more than 600 days at sea and traveling miles beneath its surface.

The Lynch Group, a family-owned logistics business headquartered in Bangor, has made several promotions as part of a leadership reconfiguration. Ryan Lynch, previously vice president of subsidiary Lynco Inc., has been appointed to lead the Lynch Group as president. Ray Lynch, the group’s owner and former president, has transitioned to an advisory role as chairman. Dana Burleigh, previously vice president of subsidiary Lynch Logistics Inc., has been elevated to executive vice president of business development for all Lynch divisions. In addition, Chris Haynes has been named vice president of operations; Nicole Kelley has been promoted to vice president of human resources and safety; and Roland Gendreau has take on an expanded role as controller of the Lynch Group.

Laura Lee

Laura Lee has been promoted to vice president of community impact at the Maine Community Foundation. Lee joined the foundation in 2015 as a program officer and previously was director of grant-making. She is based in the foundation’s Portland office, where she oversees its grant-making and community impact operations and leads the program team. Lee graduated from Oberlin College before receiving her master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
