The Climate Action Plan Task Force in Kennebunk is seeking participation from residents in a climate action survey.

Kennebunk created a volunteer task force to work on a climate action plan for the community, and the survey is just the first of a series of events, meetings, and public opportunities to learn more about climate change and talk with fellow community members about how the community will adapt. The task force invites people take a five-minute survey to help the town understand concerns and opinions about climate and how the town can adapt to and slow climate change. Participants are encouraged to take the survey online, but for those who are unable, paper copies are available at the town office, Kennebunk Free Library, H.B. Provisions and Cummings’ Market.

According to a task force news release, “Our community is beginning to observe the effects of climate change. This situation will require action and investment on the part of the town and its residents. The town has created a volunteer task force to work on a climate action plan for the community, and the survey is just the first of a series of events, meetings, and public opportunities to learn more about climate change and talk with fellow community members about how the community will adapt.”
