Eugene (Paul) MacKenzie

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – Eugene (Paul) MacKenzie, 67, passed away in Punta Gorda, Fla. on April 13, 2023 after a brief illness.

He was the son of Eugene N. MacKenzie and Phyllis (Morse) MacKenzie. He graduated from Westbrook High School in 1973.

Paul went to work at UPS from the late ’70s until the early ’80s, also worked for AC Communications from 1985-2003. Then he decided to become self-employed.

Paul loved to go out on his boat fishing. Always enjoyed going to Sebago Lake for boy’s weekend. His true passion was cooking and working with wood (inherited) passion from his father.

Paul is survived by his wife Rhonda; his son, Geno, stepson, Jessie Rossignol and his wife Mary Beth Schmid; his brother, Dean MacKenzie, sisters Brenda Garland, Gail MacKenzie, Jan and her husband Sam Minervino; two granddaughters who he loved very much; and several nieces and nephews.
