Free wellness fair
Buxton Recreation Department is hosting an age-friendly wellness fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Buxton Town Hall, 185 Portland Road.
Buxton businesses and organizations will provide tips for overall well-being. The event includes door prizes, raffles and refreshments.

Taxes past due
The second half of property taxes was due April 10. Taxes are now past due and interest will begin to accrue after April 30.

Free turkey dinner for seniors
Bonny Eagle students and SAD 6 administrators will serve a free turkey dinner to the district’s senior citizens at 4:30 p.m. May 18 in the cafeteria at Bonny Eagle High School, 700 Saco Road, Standish.
The district includes Buxton, Frye Island, Hollis, Limington and Standish. RSVP by calling 929-2312 or email cweeks@bonnyeagle.org.
