Construction of new sidewalks on the western side of Ocean House Road in Cape Elizabeth is expected to begin in a few weeks.
Gorham Sand and Gravel is the contractor, with 75% funding from the Federal Highway Administration and Maine Department of Transportation.
The Town Center Sidewalk Project has two segments, one that extends along Jordan Way to the high school entrance road, and the other from C-Salt Gourmet Market to Fowler Road. Features include new storm drains, curbing, trees and lighting. Work is expected to be complete in September.
