Elected positions open for nomination
Nomination papers are available for two three-year terms on the Select Board seats and for a three-year term as town clerk. The election is set for June 13.
Other positions available include a three-year seat on the Planning Board and two three-year seats and one two-year seat on the Budget Committee.
All municipal nomination papers must be filed in the town clerk’s office by 4:30 p.m. April 14. For more information, call 929-6171.
SAD 6 candidates reminder
Completed school director nomination papers for SAD 6 must be delivered by 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, to the registrar of voters in the town where the candidate is a resident. The district includes Buxton, Frye Island, Hollis, Limington and Standish.
After certification, each candidate must deliver the papers with verified signatures to the district’s office, 94 Main St., Buxton, by 4 p.m. March 30.
