Zoning hearing next week

The Buxton Planning Board will conduct a public hearing on proposed zoning changes at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17 at Town Hall.

Proposed changes involve accessory dwelling units, plumbing and electrical permits, and medical marijuana caregivers, and are available for review on the town’s webpage, buxton.me.us, and at the Buxton Municipal Building, 185 Portland Road.

Seeking summer camp help

Buxton Recreation Department is hiring camp counselors and coordinators for the summer.

The pay for counselor shifts ranging from 20 to 35 hours a week is $13.80 to $14.50 per hour. Camp coordinators for 35 to 40 hours weekly will earn $15 to $16 per hour.
