Edna Marie (Wilbur) Smith

SCARBOROUGH – Edna Marie (Wilbur) Smith, 92, of Scarborough, passed on March 5, 2023 at Springbrook Center in Westbrook.

She was born on June 26, 1930, the daughter of Melvin and Mildred (French) Wilbur. She met and married Allen V. Smith in 1954.

She was predeceased by her husband; her son, Allen V. Smith Jr.; her parents; and sisters Ruth Warming and Viola Dyer.

Surviving are her daughter, Sally Petit and husband, Robert of Scarborough; grandsons Robert Petit III and his wife Erika of North Little Rock, Ark., Jeffrey Petit and his wife Lisa of Saco; great-grandsons Sullivan, Alexander, Cooper, Callaghan, Theodore, Elliot; and many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday March 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a service immediately following at 3 p.m. at Hobbs Funeral Home, 671 U.S. Route 1 in Scarborough.
