Micheal Senn
RAYMOND – Mike’s legacy as a genius guitarist, beloved family member, and good and kind person will be pieces of memories we all hold dear.
Living in Alaska, Michael worked as a stone mason, flooring expert, and acclaimed musician. A Blues guitarist, he and fellow musicians of “Freddy Fleet and his Fast Feet” and “Southside Blues” shared the stage with B. B. King, Frank Zappa, the Drifters, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Little Feet, and other musical icons.
In the 70’s, Michael moved to Maine for a whole new life. Devoted to family, friends, and music, a decades-long relationship with Bonnie Lewis welcomed him into a large family where he became the adored “Papa” to seven grandchildren.
Organ donation blessed Michael with an additional 12 years of life. On Feb. 10, his journey ended. Bonnie remained by his side.
Michael leaves behind his beloved partner, Bonnie Lewis (Raymond), brother Steven and sister-in-law Susan Senn (Florida); nephew Lucas Senn and family (Alaska), and treasured family in Maine. He was predeceased by parents, Jeanette and Jack Senn; and brother, Matthew Senn.
A funeral service will be held in the summer with a music-filled celebration of life to follow.
In lieu of flowers, Michael would encourage organ donation.
