A Naples man was found dead after an early morning fire at his home Friday.
Jonathan Cabral, 43, lived alone at the home on East Shore Beach Road. The Naples Fire Department responded to reports of a residential fire at 2 a.m. Friday. The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office also responded, as well as several local fire departments.
Investigators discovered Cabral deceased in the fire, and his remains were transported to a local funeral home.
Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said in a news release that the fire is an active and ongoing investigation.
