A dump truck driver crashed the vehicle into a house in Scarborough on Monday, but no one was injured in the accident.
According to a statement from the Scarborough Police Department, Ean Walsh, 22, of Steep Falls, lost control and left the road near the intersection of Broadturn Road and Elizabeth Lane, where it struck a house.
Both the dump truck and house were damaged, but neither Walsh nor anyone inside was injured, police said.
Although the crash is still under investigation, charges against Walsh are not likely.
According to photos from the accident, which were posted on the police department’s Facebook page, the truck was owned by Dearborn Brothers Construction of Buxton.
