Patricia J. Bailey

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. – Our dear mother, Patricia J. Bailey, with loving family by her side, passed away Jan. 10, 2023 at the age of 91, in Fayetteville, Tenn., where she resided for the last four years.

Born on Nov. 3, 1931, Mom was the daughter of Hazel and Joseph Quinn and the sister of Roger Quinn, Phyllis Quinn, and Carolyn Quinn-Fenney.

She was a loving mother who was there when we needed her. Patricia had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community of Westbrook, where she had lived for 87 years. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1950. Mom worked for General Motors, Westbrook City Hall, Travelers Insurance, and then as a medical transcriber before retirement.

She enjoyed traveling, bike riding, swimming, reading, and walking on the beach with her beloved dog, “T.J.”. Mom always said how these enjoyments “made her feel free.” She was very proud of her family and heritage. We remember her fondly, especially at the Easter dinners with family or on Memorial Day at camp She always had a smile on her face and seemed to light up with any good news stories we could share with her.

Mom will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her three children, Karen (Bob), Lawrence (Maureen), and Kevin (Caroline); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
