Requests for housing and other help on the increase, Biddeford’s City Council learns
Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center Director Rev. Shirley Bowen said the center receives as many as five calls a day for help finding housing. Biddeford City Council is looking for the state to become more invovled in providing assistance and answers.
Thornton Academy to mitigate lead issues in water sources
The school reported that five drinking water sources and 97 non-drinking water sources exceeded the state’s 4 parts per billion acceptable limit.
