BIDDEFORD — Anita Cartier, age 75, passed away at Gosnell House on Nov. 24 , 2022.
Anita was born on Feb. 7, 1947, in Biddeford, Maine, to Theodore and Lillian (Blow) Gervais. Anita graduated High School in 1965, and St. Francis College in 1970.
On Aug. 17, 1968, Anita married Ronald Philip Cartier at St. Andre’s Church. They were married for 54 years. Anita worked at Biddeford Savings Bank for 34 years.
Anita loved feeding family, giving gifts, reading, and spending time at home with her husband Ron.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Lillian Gervais.
She is survived by: her husband, Ronald Cartier; her daughters, Jen Cartier and husband Steve Scoville, and Beth Jones; her grandchildren, Delia and Owen Scoville; and her sisters, Kate Ross and husband David, and Elaine Gervais (wife of Mickey Glennon).
Services will be private.
Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.
