Route 11 in Naples, which is also known as Casco Road, reopened around 4 p.m. Sunday following a structure fire that broke out earlier in the day.

The Cumberland County Regional Communications Center sent out a traffic alert at 12:08 p.m. asking motorists to avoid the road which closed to allow crews the space they needed to fight the fire.

The location of the structure fire, near American Legion Post 155, was reported to be in the vicinity of 17 Casco Road, though that address could not be confirmed.

Details about the extent and cause of the fire were not available, but several neighboring towns did respond with mutual aid.
