Myrtle A. Lefebvre
BIDDEFORD – Myrtle A. Lefebvre, 89, of Biddeford, passed away on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.
Myrtle was born on Oct. 26, 1933, to Carise and Annie (Berube) Cote. She was a proud Catholic and member of Good Shepherd Parish. Myrtle was married to Andre Lefebvre. They were married for 68 wonderful years and had three children. Myrtle spent much of her life working in retail.
Myrtle loved to be outdoors and would often be seen walking the streets of Biddeford. She loved the beach and spending time in the sun. Myrtle also enjoyed dancing and shopping, always looking for the best bargain. She had a fondness for animals, especially dogs.
Family meant everything to Myrtle. She enjoyed having breakfast/lunch dates, watching Lifetime movies, or just spending time with family. She was kind, caring and fun. She had great love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Myrtle was predeceased by her parents; sisters Kathleen Bragg, Mildred Hebert, and Jeanette Graffam.
She is survived by her husband, Andre Lefebvre; daughter, Tammy Dion and husband Guy, daughter, Tracy Busa and husband Jon, son, Keith Lefebvre and wife Sue; grandchildren Whitney Morin, Carly Villandry, Hilary Dion, Colby Dion, Brooke Presby, Morgan Dutremble, and Austin Dutremble; great-grandchildren Sawyer Morin, Camille Morin, Ever Villandry, Rhodes Villandry, and Colton Presby; and a brother, Gilbert Cote, his wife Flo; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Maine and the staff at Seal Rock HealthCare. They would also like to send a special thank you to her “traveling angels” Misty and Bridgette.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Committal will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Welfare Society or the Parkinson’s Foundation in Myrtle’s memory.
