Jason Stephen Walsh of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, passed quietly on June 15, 2022, from injuries suffered after being struck by a car while he was walking on the Hana Highway. Jake as he was also known, was born Oct. 19, 1970, and grew up in Weston, Massachusetts, and Kennebunk, graduating from Kennebunk High School in 1988.

He is survived by his daughter Jordan Johnson, granddaughters Taylan and Myla Jean, son Kainen Walsh, step-son Chris, and step-daughter Madison. mother Patricia Colby of Arundel, father Stephen and stepmother Connie Walsh of Ft. Myers, Florida, sister Tara Walsh of Kittery and her daughter Bahnaya Cohen, brother Patrick of New York City, step-sister Gabrielle Minotti of Summit, New Jersey, and step-brother Ben Williams and sister-in-law Margaret Latawiec. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private family Celebration of Life was held in Kittery on Aug. 20. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in his name to the Brain Trauma Foundation or Alcoholics Anonymous.
